American Mudjacking of Kansas City provides an eco-friendly and inexpensive alternative to concrete replacement. Virtually all types of concrete surfaces will deteriorate at some point in time. This deterioration often creates a void, thus causing the concrete surface to sink for become unlevel and/or unstable. We Raise and level this void by injecting a dirt and mortar mix under the concrete can return the structure to its original state. This procedure will help prevent the soil settling issues that allow concrete to sink and become unlevel. Concrete slabs sink for a variety of reasons including soil erosion, poor soil preparation, and soil movement. The slab sinks because there is less soil under it to support it.

Simply swapping out a slab doesn’t fix the underlying problem of empty spaces in the soil beneath the damaged concrete. Those air pockets are still there, which means the slab is likely to sink again over time. With slabjacking, we fill those voids with soil, making the concrete much more stable and secure. This approach ensures that the repair will last longer and be more effective in the long run.
